Foundation Stage

In the Foundation Stage we aim to provide a safe, secure environment where children are nurtured, cared for and educated by experienced, qualified staff. As children become established within the setting our aim is that they will be happy and grow in confidence and self-esteem.
The activities we provide help to develop skills of independence and autonomous thinking. Whenever possible we encourage children to make choices, select materials and care for their environment e.g. by helping to tidy away after activities.
We do all of the above while upholding all statutory requirements and the four principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
