School Uniform Shop
The School shop is located in the main concourse of the School. It is run in conjunction with the Bursar’s Department.
The School shop is open weekly during term time and it is possible to make an appointment if you wish to buy a substantial amount of uniform.
Prior to the commencement of the next academic year, the School shop will be open on the following days:

These are non-appointment days, and it should be borne in mind the School has no control over the numbers attending. Some waiting may, therefore, be expected and we would ask for your co-operation where necessary.
An appointment system is in operation when full uniform is required for new pupils to the school; however, there are some appointments available for existing pupils who require a number of items of uniform. The APPOINTMENT ONLY days are as follows:

Order Procedure
To make the buying of school uniform as easy as possible we operate an order form system. Each area of school has its own order form detailing the major items of uniform and sports equipment which we stock together with the size range and current selling price. These are available from Reception. Completed orders, with cheque payment, should be returned in a sealed envelope to Reception. Orders received by lunchtime on one shop-opening day may be collected, by pupils, on the following shop-opening day. Cheques should be made payable to 'Durham High School for Girls'. The school shop is only able to accept cash or cheque. No uniform may be put on the school invoice.
