Karate lessons have been held in school for the last 25 years. In this time many girls have progressed all the way from beginner to black belt. Lessons follow a coloured belt system and there is also an emphasis on self defence practice.

Our instructor, Rosanne Tombs (3rd dan Wado Ryu Karate) believes that if children enjoy their activity they will achieve at a far greater level. She emphasises the importance of music, role-play and situation awareness in her lessons.
