Shoe Design Club
When given the opportunity to rival Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo, girls in Years 5 and 6 jump at the chance.
Shoe Design Club calls upon lots of different skills and a big helping of imagination. Each week, a different style of shoe is studied and then re-designed by the young fashionistas. This results in them bringing in a pair of old shoes to liven up and give a new lease of life.
The second half of the club really tests the girls’ design skills as they are challenged to design and make a pair of slippers from scratch using certain materials. This is a runaway success and the girls are able to present an excellent, end-of-club fashion show.
