Key Stage 2 - Year 4
Year 4 topics focus on 3 areas Ancient Egypt, Settlements and map reading and Children in Victorian times. The girls develop research skills using both books and the internet.
During the Autumn term we visit a Living History Exhibition to see ‘Land of the Pharaohs’ where girls get to see first hand, aspects of Egyptian life and take part in a role play session with an Egyptian Farmer and an Egyptian Princess.
Our Summer term trip to Cragside House also gives the girls a chance to see a perfectly preserved Victorian house, with the opportunity to explore family rooms and servants areas, as well as complete the Armstrong Trail.
