Art at GCSE

At the end of their GCSE course girls produce an exhibition of their work, which is part coursework and a final, controlled test.

Girls are encouraged to develop their own responses to the themes and interpret them in ways that explore observation techniques and skill with materials. By making references to the work of the major artists, girls can learn particular techniques and adopt them to suit their own developments.
