Geography is a subject which is dynamic and constantly developing. The department consists of energetic staff who are passionate about their subject and recognise that many of the major issues faced by the world today come under their subject’s remit. As the world changes, the department’s scheme of work also develops to reflect the up-to-date and relevant nature of Geography. Fieldwork is an integral part of the work we do and every year group has a fieldtrip that involves data collection and hypothesis testing. Fieldtrips concern both physical and human geography and also the links between the two.
