Have you ever wondered what it would be like to start and run your own business?
Young Enterprise is a national organisation whose aim is to give young people an insight into the world of business.
Durham High School for Girls annually joins Business Enterprise and competes with hundreds of other schools in the North East, through setting up and trading as groups of small business ventures. We have often obtained excellent results and gone through to the finals.
This is not a simulation or a role-play! This is forming and running a real business.
Business Magnates
Business magnates is for enthusiastic, motivated, and lively Year 8 Girls. Teams explore a series of Business challenges over the year and run in direct competition with schools all over the North East of England. It’s great fun and at the end there is a fantastic prize.
