You can choose from a large variety of instruments including flute, oboe, clarinet, sax, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, guitar or harp - the choice is yours!
Perform
in exciting venues including the Sage Gateshead, Durham’s Gala Theatre, Durham Cathedral and Newcastle City Hall.
Develop
your skill and confidence as a performer in small-scale concerts in school as well as in large public concerts.
Expand
your musical horizons, performing a wide range of classical, jazz, popular and pop music.
Enjoy
performing music you have composed yourself - or teach your friends to perform it for you.
Share
your music by performing in the school’s orchestras, wind bands, swing band and choirs, and work with the drama and music departments in our annual productions in Durham’s Gala Theatre.
