Extra Curricular Activities
We have Reading Groups at all key stages and judging groups each year for the Carnegie Medal, the Greenaway Medal and the North East Teenage Book Award. Pupils are given plenty of opportunities for other extra-curricular involvement with regular quizzes, debates and competitions. World Book Day and National Poetry Day are always celebrated with special events.
