It’s never too early for children to get involved in drama. Apart from the immense fun to be had, performing before an audience is so rewarding and such a fantastic way of building confidence.
That’s why in Junior House we create opportunities for all to tread the boards. From the Nursery Nativity – what a delight! – to the Year 5 musical in the Gala Theatre and the ever-impressive Year 6 play, whatever your daughter’s age, you are always in for a treat when you come to see her on stage.
Drama has its place in the classroom too, bringing the girls’ studies to life. In Year 6, for instance, girls script and perform their own plays linked to their Shakespeare topic.
From Year 3, girls who wish to take drama further, can join in our LAMDA classes (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) and may choose to take examinations.
