Senior Sport Update

We are thrilled that the U19 Netball team will be representing the North East at the England Netball National Schools Finals in March. The girls made it after topping both the County and Regional competitions, without losing a single match. The regional round, which took place at the weekend, saw the side record victories against Yarm (15-6), Prudhoe (29-4), Barnard Castle (14-1), Durham Johnston (13-12), Royal Grammar School Newcastle (7-6), Newcastle High School for Girls (17-10) and Ponteland (14-4). In the U14 Regional competition, the U14 team showed great determination and finished in 4th place. Elsewhere, the U12 and U13 Netball teams played their final league games against Hermitage School. It was an impressive 24-0 win for the U13s, who are now winners of the Durham and District league. Well done to everyone involved.

Prep Sport Update

The U9A and U9B Netball teams travelled to Mowden Hall on Wednesday. Both teams played excellently, the U9A team won their match and the U9B team drew. On Thursday the U10A and U10B and U11A and U11B teams played against Newcastle High School. The U11A and U10A teams won their matches and the U11B and U10B games were extremely close, with all teams playing brilliantly and showing excellent teamwork. Well done to all who took part.
