Durham High School will be reopening its doors to the County Durham community this summer, with four weeks of holiday activities for girls and boys aged 3-5.
Our inaugural Summer Activity Camps will take place weekdays from 26 July to 20 August. Children do not need to be pupils of the school in order to attend.
Each day will run from 9am (drop off from 8.30am at earliest) until 3.30pm (pick up by 4pm at latest). Parents can book spaces for full weeks or individual days.
Jonny Hall, Director of Marketing at Durham High School, said:
“Following a year stuck in their homes, with very little interaction with their wider family or friends at school, we understand the need for young children to get out, stay active and interact with each other this Summer.”
“These planned camps are a great way for young children to have fun, be creative and stay busy during the holidays. In addition, they will provide vital childcare provision to those parents returning to, or continuing to go to, work.”
“The sessions will take place in our wonderful Nursey and Reception setting, with access to our Forest School area, playground, field and woodland den, and they will be led by our highly experience Early Years team.”
