Come and play at one of our Outdoor Tots sessions

It was wonderful to welcome so many to Ramside Hall on Monday evening to celebrate the sporting achievements of our pupils over this last year. We were delighted to welcome footballer Grace McCatty as our keynote speaker. Grace presented awards to all our winners, as we celebrated some fantastic individual and team successes. Well done to everyone who received an award.

Easter Holidays

A reminder there will be no one monitoring telephone calls in school after 6pm this evening until we return on Monday 24 April. In addition, the entire school site will be closed between Friday 7 and Monday 17 April. If you have any need to contact the school during the holidays, please email [email protected], but be aware that you may not receive an immediate response.

Eco Schools

Many thanks to all students who donated books for the Book Swap. Students in Prep, in particular, seemed delighted with their new books for some Easter holiday reading!

School Ball – Saturday 29 April

We are delighted to share with you details of the Parents & Friends School Ball, which will take place on Saturday 29 April 2023 in The Bishops Suite at Ramside Hall. The Las-Vegas themed Ball is for all members of the school community, with parents from all year groups invited, as well as Year 12 and 13 pupils, staff, Governors and Old Girls who are aged 17 years old and above.

We are sure anyone that has been before will agree that the annual event is a wonderful occasion which allows us to come together as an entire school community. The aim of the evening is to raise funds for the Parents & Friends, who use the money to fund many fantastic items and ‘icing on the cake’ activities to enhance the girls’ experience at school. You can book your tickets now by clicking here.

Year 4 Visit

The pupils in Year 4 had a fantastic day at Segedunum Roman Fort & Museum on Friday, learning about the life of a Roman Solider.

Eco Chemistry Olympiad

Congratulations to our Sixth Form Chemists on their success in the 2023 Royal Society of Chemistry ‘Chemistry Olympiad’.

Study Skills sessions

It was a pleasure to invite Elevate Education into school this week to run revision technique training with Years 7-10 and Year 12. Tabitha from Elevate also held a evening session for parents, where she shared tips for how they can help their children to effectively manage their time and stay motivated when studying and revising.

Prep Sport

Well done to the U11A and U10A Netball teams who played brilliantly on Thursday afternoon against Dame Allan’s. The U11A played a close game throughout until the final quarter and won comfortably with a score of 11-4. Well done to the team and to Carola Elin, who received the opposition player of the match. The U10A played Dames Allan’s U11B and narrowly lost 6-7. The game was extremely close and the team worked extremely hard against the older opposition. Well done to the team, and to Evie and Talullah, who received the opposition players of the match.

Have a peaceful Easter break.
